“The most participated-in tournament of all time. Don't miss a single play.”

Next Generation Esports is the leader in pushing the boundaries of the audience experience and Psychojelly had the pleasure to work with them to execute the most elaborate competition stage and live broadcast event yet for the biggest game in the world: The 2019 Fortnite World Cup.

In 2019, Esports took in more audience than all competitive sports combined. But as fast as Esports has grown, so has the ways the audience can experience it. Next Generation Esports is the leader in pushing the boundaries of the audience experience and Psychojelly had the pleasure to work with them to execute the most elaborate competition stage and live broadcast event yet for the biggest game in the world: The 2019 Fortnite World Cup.

The competition included the highest skilled players in the world playing for 30 million dollars, celebrity matches, and some fantastic AR broadcast technology to create photo realistic objects in the arena. Such a fun event, excellent team, and great experience in seeing how the Egaming world is growing with technology. Working with NGE and Epic games, we helped provide a content management system that monitored 100 players actions from in the game in realtime. This system needed not to miss a beat and move as fast as all the world’s best players to allow the audience in the arena to see on the stage what each player’s health, resources, and equipment were. Working with
NGE’s amazing dev team and Sam O’Brien of Captain Code was a fantastic Esports experience.
