Fractal Temple

A project we worked on for Otherworld Philly.

The Fractal Temple is 1400sqft of trippy, psychedelic, and stimulating content projection-mapped over a futuristic yet ancient temple facade.

The space acts as both the exit back into the "real" world and a venue for Otherworld to host concerts and shows.

It utilizes 26 projectors mapped to the facade of the temple, the floors, and the walls using 4 computers and an array of mapped LEDs that can be controlled live for performances or changed out for Holidays and Private Events.

The content is generative and interactive using motion tracking cameras in the ceiling to allow guests to affect the content with their bodies.

Tech: Projection Mapping, LED Mapping, Motion Tracking, Spatial Audio

Team: Jansen Wright, Laia, Kit Matthews, Sydne Lee, Milo Gauld, Zac Layman, Evan Gannon, Audio Focus, Rick Brown, Otherworld
