Alamo Drafthouse Indianapolis

We partnered with Alamo Drafthouse Cinema and Weiss Architecture to bring an immersive, race-themed photo opportunity to the new Indianapolis theater. Inspired by the venue’s race car motif, this projection-mapped installation offers guests a dynamic, interactive experience.

Our team designed and installed a 3-projector setup to cover a 20ft x 10ft wall, working closely with Weiss and Alamo Drafthouse to integrate the system seamlessly. We also collaborated with the construction team to plan cable runs and set up the Content Management System, ensuring a smooth handoff with a full onboarding session for their team.

The content was created in Unreal Engine, featuring a Speed Racer (2007)-inspired racetrack with Easter eggs from iconic movie cars. The track shifts through multiple scenes, allowing guests to step behind the wheel for an immersive photo and video op—making them look like they’re driving through the action!

This installation enhances the Alamo Drafthouse experience by blending cutting-edge projection mapping, interactive storytelling, and cinema nostalgia.
